Williams Sonoma opened its new location at Hughes Landing on Friday, September 18, bringing its lineup of kitchenware, cookware, small appliances, home furnishings, and gourmet food to The Woodlands.

The 5,000-square-foot store sits at 1925 Hughes Landing Blvd., Suite A300, part of Hughes Landing Retail Row. Howard Hughes Communities confirmed the opening back in March, calling it part of the effort to keep bringing national retail brands to the waterfront district.

Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Why it matters: another established national brand choosing Hughes Landing over a strip mall somewhere else says something about how the district is positioning itself.
